There are two ways to centrally share files and folders with
users or groups within Nextcloud. This
is commonly done to achieve similar effect of a typical Windows server file
share or network share in a company. NAS
(network attached storage) appliance is also commonly used in this manner.
First method: Create a user that is used to centrally share out files and folder. Sharing is done as per normal sharing method to group(s) or user(s) with permission such as “Allow editing”, “Allow creating”, “Allow deleting” and “Allow resharing”. With this method, the ownership of the files is the user used and only that user’s login can manage it.
