With Nextcloud, user can
create anonymous file drop folder as an alternative to using email,
FTP server or other file sharing services for non Nextcloud users to
upload files without being a user or logging in to Nextcloud.
- Non Nextcloud users will not be able to see the contents of the folder or make any changes other than to upload files

Create a new folder
- Folder name does not have to be named “anonymous”
- Click the share button to display the slide-in menu on the right panel
- Click the “+” share link icon

Select the “File drop
(upload only)” permission from the drop-down menu
- User may now share the link to non Nextcloud users for uploading of files
- The screen above shows a non Nextcloud user accessing via the file drop link accessing the anonymous folder created earlier
*Note that the non Nextcloud user is unable to see the content of the folder and is only allowed upload permission
